Nancy O'Dell's first job in the broadcast industry was as a reporter/anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she worked at WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. O'Dell's reportage on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI instances. According to the Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with her Best Report of the year Award to every aspect of South Carolina media. O'Dell, after her stint in Charleston reporting and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent on weekends. O'Dell, in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's been a reporter for The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Co-hosted also for the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
